The Latvian Association of Architects rents out spaces at the Architects' House for events in the Vecrīga district – at 11 Torņa Street!
The venue is suitable for various events such as client and corporate or private parties, product presentations, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, concerts, creative events, weddings, and more.
Events can be organized in four rooms within the Architects' House:
Main Hall
Main Hall is located on the 2nd floor with expansive windows offering attractive views of Torņa and Trokšņu streets and the roofs of Vecrīga. The hall features excellent acoustics and a perfectly tuned Estonia grand piano.
The hall can accommodate:
- Conferences, seminars, concerts – up to 80 seated guests;
- Events without seating – up to 100 people;
- Receptions with tables – up to 50 people.
The hall is also suitable for exhibitions; exhibits can be placed against the walls or as freestanding displays.
St. Jürgen Tower 2nd Floor Hall
St. Jürgen Tower 2nd Floor Hall is located next to the main hall. Suitable for small, elegant events or as an additional space for events happening in the main hall. The area of the St. Jürgen Tower 2nd Floor Hall is 28 m², featuring an antique table with chairs, making it suitable also for meetings. Chairs are also arranged around the perimeter of the room.
St. Jürgen Tower 1st Floor Hall
This tower room is located in the basement, covering an area of 24 m². It's suitable for small, more formal gatherings or meetings of approximately 15 people. The room also serves as an additional space for events happening in the adjacent cafe in the basement. The room has good acoustics.
Architects' House Cafe
Previously functioning as the Architects' House cafe yet now it serves as a private gathering space. It retains its original interior designed in 1981 by one of the former presidents of the Latvian Association of Architects – architect Edvīns Vecumnieks. The Soviet modernism interior in public spaces is a rarity nowadays. The room covers 31 m² with 25 comfortable seating places. It's suitable for informal discussions or events among friends and family.
