Competition management services

Based on the Public Procurement Law and Chair of the LAS Board Linda Leitāne’s doctoral thesis , LAS has developed the Good Practice Guidelines for Competitions, which are recommended for architectural, interior, landscape architecture, design, monumental art and similar competitions. LAS appoints experts to examine tender dossiers and consult on organising public and private competitions. If good practice guidelines have been followed, LAS posts a notice of the competition announcement on its social media channels and publishes the results, all the participants’ projects and the jury minutes. Competition results are also published in the journal Latvijas Architektūra.

Detailed information about LAS services in developing and managing design competition documentation is available here.
