The Latvian Association of Architects (LAS) is celebrating its one hundred years anniversary in 2024. This significant event is marked by exibition of rare books from the LAS Library collection donated to the National Library of Latvia in 2022. The exhibition is held in The World of Rarities exhibition hall on the 5th level of the National Library of Latvia from March 7th to May 25th 2024. LAS book collection includes rare prints in history and theory of architecture from the late 18th century to the mid-20th century reflecting the fundament of architectural education from the Age of Renaissance to significant traits in development of the Modern Architecture during the interwar period. Substantial part of the books exhibited here comes from the library of notable Latvian architect Ernests Štālbergs (1883–1958).
