Inspired by the aim of the Festival LAMPA to promote open dialogue, critical thinking, civic participation and exchange of ideas, RTU Institute of Architecture and Design students proposed creating a stage dedicated to architecture – a floating platform in Cēsis Castle Park pond as an experiment on dissolving boundaries between architecture, people and dialogue. Developed with the university and partners, it became an innovative stage symbolizing dialogue and an interdisciplinary approach to public space.
