Apartment Building Complex in Historic Wooden Riga District
The complex consists of two historic buildings in the Wooden Riga district of the Latvian capital. The two buildings historically housed a police station, and now are restored to house modern living spaces. The wooden building – the historic residence of police officers – on the side of the street was restored to its original state, whereas the brick building – the actual police station (until 1918, later – Swedish Cotton Factory) – was transformed into a completely remodelled industrial building with four “townhouse” type apartments.
