The Outpatient Center and Emergency Department at the Children’s Hospital help structure a complex environment, making it intuitive and welcoming to navigate. The light, transparent façade and natural light harmonize with the emotionally warm interiors. Animal scultures — a crane and a deer — become trusted companions for children on their journey through the healing. Here, architecture becomes an experience where functionality and empathy come together as one.
