Daugavpils Secondary School of Design and Art 'Saules skola' building complex in Daugavpils, Saules Street 6/8, Muzeja Street 3 and Saules Street 2
School complex “Saules Skola” is located within the historical centre of the city Daugavpils and next to the river Daugava. Existing school complex is extended with two new buildings. The more unique features of the new structures are their external facades: pre-schools brick facades that are layered to show a three-dimensional ornament; a large ceramic facade facing the river Daugava; and a double height glazed facade towards the schools courtyard.
Schools extension is created around a central atrium that supports all the schools functions and engulfs the external courtyard from three sides.
