The Estonian Embassy in Latvia, which includes a consulate, exhibition space, the ambassador’s residence, and an official apartment, is housed in a building located on the site of a former Soviet computing center built in 1982. The main architectural feature of the project is its façade — cornices and louvres clad in three-dimensionally carved massive blocks of Kaarma stone. This grey limestone with a bluish tint is a national symbol of Estonia, emphasizing the building’s purpose.
