HILTON Garden Inn new hotel building at Grecinieku street 25, Riga
The hotel building on Grecinieku Street 25, Riga, is built on a project whose basic idea was created and won an open architectural design contest in 2007.
During the project development, the function of the building has changed several times until it has fixed as hotel function. Project idea was discussed by various public and professional organizations, but the architectural idea was kept as created in the beginning, competition stage.
The spatial and artistic idea is based on the assumption that there are still historical buildings basement under the ground, whose plan and spatial structure
