On 28 October, for the sixth year in a row, international city-planning event MadCity Riga with theme "Crisis in the city" was held. Event summarized lessons from the pandemic, the new reality of the war, refugees and rising energy costs. As usual, the event was organised as a platform to encourage exchange of experiences, cooperation and discussion between the four sectors (citizen, business, state and municipality) in order to develop solutions for the "city in emergency". Event was attended by 310 participants (online 2 000) from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland
