<i>Pied a terre</i>
A small dwelling in a historical building in Riga’s ‘Quiet centre’. Given that numerous reconstructions of the apartment had seen the building’s historical essence obliterated, the designers have chosen to create a layout independent of the original building’s scheme. The apartment’s functional areas are linked sequentially in line with contemporary enfilade principles.
