Laubes Nams

Laubes House is a cultural monument, designed in 1924 by the architect Eižens Laube. Today, the building houses the office of MÁDARA, but it is also open as a cultural space. The building had retained its external volume and classic facades. While the authenticity of the building’s interior had been lost in the renovations during the 20th century, the construction details had been preserved. They were restored, and a ventilation system was carefully built using old flues. The new interior is a subtle interplay of textures and tones. The garden is gorgeous, while maintaining a slight restraint.
