The new building of the "Liepāja Music, Art and Design Secondary School" (LMMDV) is a new modern building complex, where students can study their chosen study programs in a modern environment. The building is located in the center of Liepāja city near Jāņa Čakstes Square in a densely built-up area of the city. The challenge of the project was to create modern spaces in a limited area, encasing it in a construction volume that would form a harmonious ensemble with the historical building of the art school. This was achieved by dressing the facade in COR-TEN finishing panels.
