New office building for the “Knauf” factory complements the existing educational facility with a linear, representative foreground along Daugavas street. The frontyard features landscaped micro-terrain with greenary, creating an attractive space seperated from street noise. Building volumes are united by lucid steel roof platforms that shield from sun and rain while creating a pleasant, transformative space. The courtyard with an illuminated logo around the existing square serves as a symbol of openness and sustainability. The layout is designed to encourage an inspiring environment.
