The Latvian company Lightguide is a world leader in the development and production of high-tech optical fibre medical products, employing highly qualified Latvian scientists, engineers, and production specialists.
The overarching goal of the project was to create for the company’s workspaces and outdoor areas an energetic, confident functional and aesthetic “benchmark”. The design process included numerous co-creation workshops with employees, exploring and detailing functional and technological needs, as well as safety requirements for each work zone, workstation, and outdoor space.
The building layouts follow the technological requirements of production processes, with the human worker at the centre — creating a vibrant, dynamic environment indoors and outside.
