Public Space Adapted for Adolescents in Small Towns. The Example of Balvi: Master’s Thesis.
The master's thesis studies public open spaces and the needs of young people within it, as well as the characteristics that define high-quality public open spaces. The study analyzes the quality of public open space in Balvi and its suitability for young people. Recommendations are provided, and conceptual functional zones are developed to support the development of youth-friendly public open spaces. Also guidelines have been created to facilitate youth involvement in the planning of public open spaces.
