The revitalization of Jelgava Old Town quarter began with resoration of two architectural monuments of national importance – in Vecpilsētas Street 14 and in Vecpilsētas Street 2, additionally providing a spatial and functional value of the adjacent territories. The selected spatial and detail solutions were implemented by minimal intervention, that allowed to preserve the historical layers of different times. The revitalization of the quarter was an effort of professionals, with architects and builders, in the process particpated tourism specialists, historians and craftsmen.
