Restoration of the Riga Cathedral was undoubtedly one of the most ambitious and biggest restoration projects carried out recently. Within two seasons, restoration works of the facades and the roof were completed. During the works rotten pieces of roof structure were replaced, stained glass windows were renovated, timber objects restored and landscaping was completed. The massive process allowed us to mobilize nearly all restoration craft resources in Latvia as well as provided an excellent practice ground for young and aspiring restorers and their apprentices.
