Reconstruction

SEA VIEW house The SEA HOUSE is the result of the reconstruction of a historic Soviet army building on the coast of the Baltic Sea. The building was built as a Soviet border control post. In 2019 the building was environmentally degraded, and a decision has been taken to reconstruct it as a holiday house. Environmental features - the building has become an integral part of the coastal dunes. Environmental quality - the building is surrounded by the EU protected habitats. The historically encoded surveillance function determined the use, sculptural form, and integration of the building into the environment.
