Two office buildings as the new face of Magdelena quarter. So different, yet similar. A17 building continues a historical twin-sloped roofscape, while the free-standing A21 is designed in contemporary formal language, having the final floor with a recess from the building line. Buildings are made of prefabricated concrete sandwich panels, as a reference to art-nouveau and it’s contrast between the dark and light - orange-brown Terracota vs. dark grey Anthracite. Both buildings have flexible office spaces, LEED PLATINUM valuation level and Energy efficiency class compliant to NZEB standards
