At the “Zābaki” tree nursery, JSC "Latvijas Finieris" has long invested in the development of tree seedlings in Latvia. As part of the project, new administration, production, storage, and cooling buildings were designed and built for modern needs. The layout of the ensemble is inspired by the traditional Latvian homestead. Glulam timber structures and untreated wood finishes reflect vernacular architecture. A unique element is the fully wooden cooling house, functioning like a refrigerator. Custom furniture was designed for the administration block.
