Exhibition „Lines of Thought. Meinhard von Gerkan – 50 years of architecture in sketches and drawings”
Exhibition at St. Peter’s Church in Riga (27.11.2015.-31.01.2016.) looks back over the last 50 years of architecture by Meinhard von Gerkan who, to this day, develops his designs with the help of sketches. 150 selected sketches of 46 projects are primarily those that exemplify von Gerkan’s ability to use just a few significant hand-drawn lines to capture the core and character of even very complex projects. St.Peters Church is closely connected to von Gerkan’s life - he was baptized there in 1935.
