Open-air entertainment canopy of 'Atmodas dārzs'
The cultural space 'Atmodas dārzs' is located in Liepāja Karosta, in one of the former officers' barracks quarters. Since June 2022, an open-air entertainment canopy has been located in the central part of the site on the foundations of the historic building. Its construction consists of standard 45x195 mm boards bolted together and a two-tone transparent polycarbonate roof covering. The intention was to create a functional and aesthetic structure that interprets the silhouettes of the adjacent historic buildings, blends gently into the historic environment and adds a fresh language of shapes.
