Project name: Amber Diptych; Project type: Permanent audio-architectural generative installation; Active since 3rd of August 2017 – ongoing. Amber Diptych is a permanent audio-architectural generative installation by Josué Moreno inaugurated on the 3rd of August 2017 during Liepāja Art Forum. The project is specifically designed for the Liepāja concert hall Lielais Dzintars (Great Amber). It is the first permanent implementation of a “public space sonic acupuncture” project. It constitutes, to the best of our knowledge, the premier in Latvia of using tactile transducers to transform a building into a macro-scale musical instrument.
