Reconstruction of an Administrative Building
Built in 1677, the four–storey building has been renovated and a has been added to it. The design concept was based on woodcarvings, details and style of authentic antiquarian elements brought from the. Traditional and uniquely Latvian ornaments successfully fit into the interior design. Each floor has stained–glass windows with ornamental or narrative compositions. In the fireplace room, the coat of arms represents Latvian regions, while the central window features a symbol of the sun. Total floor area is 268 sq. m.
