Restoring an Iconic Riga Landmark the 25 Miera iela building proved to be a formidable challenge. The structure is both historically important and complex from the construction point of view. Original by Aleksandr Klinklav’s, owned by Roche family company (headquartered in Basel, Switzerland). The building is one of the early functionalist houses in Riga and its functions were extensive: it was designed and used as a production facility, an office, a laboratory and a pharmacy. From the outside, the building should look cleaned but essentially unchanged after the renovation process.
