The project tries to inject new life into the old theater building, preserving the outer shell of the theater: the proportions, the rhythm, and the soul. The main objectives of the design: 1) separate the service and actor flows from the ones of the spectators; insert the new performance halls in the old shell of the building in a such manner that it is possible to distinguish the new from the old; cover up all the fire walls facing the building lot; maximize the insulation of the courtyard.
