Reconstruction of three apartment buildings at Ģertrūdes Street 121, Riga.
Buildings form a complex with wider apartments in street and compact in courtyard buildings. A mansard floor is built on the street building, keeping the volume close to the original. The courtyard buildings have retained the brick volumes, complemented by new two-storey volumes, with metal plates finishing, as a reference to roof materiality. The new floors offer a small outer space for each apartment. Special attention is paid to landscaping - residents are given the chance to enjoy their own, even though small city yards.
