Restoration and rebuilding of historic Surminin house
Restauration and rebuilding of the historic Surmonin House in Rezekne has given this building new life in modern environment, same time preserving its historical appearance. During the restoration, historical materials and construction methods were used as much as possible, along with interior decoration solutions typical for early 20th century. Modern materials were used for purposes where functionality is more important. Now it’s rebuilt into service hotel with 30 modern rooms for 2, 3 and 4 people, 87 beds total. The building is also adapted for people with reduced mobility and vision.
