RISEBA International summer school on the ephemeral architecture and urban design “FestivaL’and” The summer school was organised as a cooperation between RISEBA Faculty of Architecture and Design and Valmiera Summer Theatre festival from July 24 to August 4 2018. Within 12 days in the very centre of Valmiera a poetic yet functional architectural structure – pop-up city as a theatre festival centre was created. Contemporary but ephemeral architecture and urban design elements were surprising intervention and became attractive focal point in the town during three days of the theatre festival.
