The aim of the project was to create a concept that would represent SKY supermarkets not only on the given site in Berģi but also abroad and which would fit well in different environmental contexts. The simple oval–shaped volume is suited for land plots of any shape and fits equally well into natural landscape and urban surroundings. Underground parking allows using the site rationally, reducing the size of the potential land plot to minimum as well as allows avoiding the large exposed parking area, creating an aesthetically pleasant environment.
