TC 'Apelsīns' enlargement Enlargement of the TC 'Apelsīns' was intended and realized to gain twice more rental space and to revitalise the featureless facade as an impressive building volume near the highway, passed by thousands of people every day. To reach a lightweight view of the facade, not only the trade box, perforated metal panels were used. The logo of the TC Apelsīns was especially designed as a main accent of the entire store. Unfortunately, the illumination of the logo at night still has not been realized, but it was originally intended by the authors. The restaurant part of the building is designed in the design language of the restaurant chain LIDO, but atypical to their usual styling, wide glazing are used.
