The book – album “The National Library of Latvia. Architect Gunnar Birkerts” was published to immortalize NLL‘s building history and to highlight its significance as a world class 21st century library. The book reveals the complex development path of the building’s architecture from its inception as an idea of its architect Gunnar Birkerts to the fully completed building as of today. The book has received UNESCO patronage.
