The finishing of renovation works of the Old palace for the needs of Alūksne School of Art and the people of Alūksne municipality

The Old palace, a historic building of national importance, is a part of an ensemble of buildings forming Alūksne Estate, built in 1793–1794 in classicism style. The project includes renovation and paint job of the facade, restoration of windows and doors, refurbishing of the premises, landscaping works and renovation of the ice cellar. The building was adapted to the needs of disabled people: now there is an elevator and other appropriate amenities. In the attic, the old roof constructions were preserved and left exposed in the interior.
