Villa Lene is a private residence built for a Norwegian family with three daughters. The house is situated on a high dune providing a great view of the river Daugava across the rooftops. The site plan determines the narrow shape of the building, its asymmetrical silhouette, and the staircase tower, with an accent towards the driveway from the Oglu Street. The house was built with prefabricated timber structures, which were then placed on top of a concrete foundation with supporting walls.
