Rezekne Higher Educational Institution building
The renovated wing of the Rezekne Univesity is located in the building of the Teacher Institute, designed by the famous Latvian architect Pauls Kundzins. The building is an architectural landmark of national significance. It was commissioned in September 1927, becoming the largest public building in the city of Rezekne. The main challenge of the renovation process was preserving the historical heritage and adapting it to contemporary needs and solutions.
