Rīgas Street in Salaspils from “Silava” to the rail crossing
Local people and tourists have appreciated the reconstruction of the main street of Salaspils. The reconstruction has significantly improved traffic safety, infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists, as well as the overall quality or urban environment.
The street design is supplemented by lanterns, trees, ornamental greenery, beautifully laid pedestrian pavements, and new fences for private properties facing the street. Previously enclosed area with no public access has been changed and opened into a modern park square for local people and guests.
