The project proposes to renovate the Blokmuiža, adding value to the surrounding area and improving social and functional environment of Torņakalns. The Writer's Centre would benefit from the Latvian cultural environment, while at the same time promoting Riga and Latvia abroad. New buildings and a landscape are designed according to the historical context and the spatial scale of the Blokmuiža manor. Together they create a complex with multiple possibilities of use.
